Good morning everyone!
I went to bed around 1:30 last night... this morning, but for some reason I was wide awake and up and at'm at 7:30 this morning. Which is strange because I am NEVER up that early and if I am... I am usually not able to make coherent sentences.
I think it's the fact that I AM GOING HOME TOMORROW MORNING!
and I have so much to do to prepare.
I have yet to pack: although I do know what I want to wear on turkey day.
I have yet to call the taxi service that is going to drive me to the air port at 5:15 in the morning... uggh. Talk about early...
I have yet to go to any of my classes today.
Understanding Music
Ethnic Studies (which I am ditching so that I can eat one last meal with one of my roommates before we both jet home for the holidays.)
Urban Garden, Which is kind of pointless now that we aren't actually in the garden anymore.
(although we did watch a documentary called "The Garden" last week... I HIGHLY recommend it. )
Salsa 2.
I don't remember at the moment if I have reported about my highly skilled salsa abilities... Not to brag or anything but I am kind of bad ass.
And then back to the apartment for some RandR before I am home with the family and friends!
I CAN'T WAIT!
Just to report on a few of my favorite things about Thanksgiving:
1. The "Turkey bowl" we always play before the big meal
2. The fact that I am always on the winning team
3. The fact that my sister is going to be home for thanksgiving for the first time in 6 years.
4. The HUGE amount of food that gets made and brought at our thanksgiving.
YUM!
5. The weight gain competion that my brothers and I always compete in...
6. The fact that I always win.
7. The fact that when I tell any boy up in oregon that I once gained 7 1/2 pounds in one sitting he looks at me with pride and wonder.
8. Seeing my best friends
9. Getting to snuggle with my sister
10. Playing intense games of hurricane ping-pong after we have all just stuffed our face.
As you can see, I have a lot to look forward to. I'll take lots of pictures and put them up sometime this weekend...
Might not be able to blog for a while.
Anyway, happy holidays and I'll be seeing you.
