My Best Friends Could All Be Models.

I was reading this blog book and ran across a lady who called her fashion sense-- You will never guess it..

She called herself a "Candy Witch."

I think this term describes my friends pretty perfectly. 

And also--

I am kind of obsessed with this new saying.
Now

Sometimes I call my dad a candy witch. 

When I was young, me and my friends would dress up in beautiful dresses and skirts and run around our farm, this slowly morphed into full on photo shoots as my friend got more into photography and we all got more into fashion. 

I love looking at these pictures now.

I am uploading just a few that I have on my computer, but mind you these model shots go WAYYYYY back. 

Back to the days where we would dress up as pirates and princesses and dance around in our underwear.
Two of my best friends (The ones pictured here) have been my friends for my whole life, they are coming up to Lake Tahoe for New Years and I can't wait to spend some more time with them both. 

I am so fortunate to have such beautiful, kind, loving and wonderful best friends. 

My New Fashion Ideas.

I have been getting more and more comfortable with my own personal style these last couple months, there are a few pictures that I found that made me really want to try some new things.

I love layers, I love work boots, big shirts, messy hair and lots of jewelry. 

I shop at thrift stores mostly, sometimes forever 21 or random stores I find-- but,

I like my clothing cheap. 

Urban Farmer is the look I am going for. 

Yes, I know many of the people that read my blog will make fun of me, for actually trying to have a "personal style", but as you all know I am a little different from most of the people around where I live. I actually like to go shopping and I can see myself working and living in a city one day. 

I KNOW, CRAZY. 

But it's fun to get dressed up, and for people to look at you funny for something that you are wearing, or feeling out of your element in something that you feel wacky wearing. 

These types of things are fun for me. 

Anyways.

That's about the basis of it.

I can't wait to explore more with colors and some fun tops and dresses.

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE.

Felt Project! A Crafting Day.

The other day I made new felt covers for our storage space. It was one of my Dads Christmas presents and it turned out really well. It took about two days. One to design and cut the fabric and the other day to glue and put the pieces up. I really like the way that it looks up there, I am sure it will get just as gross and dusty as the other ones (which had been up for at least four years) in a short while, but as of now, it reminds me of a window-- looking out into the Capay Valley.

Christmas with the Mullers.

On Saturday night we had a wonderful Christmas party with my dad's side of the family. Over 30 family members in our house can feel a little overwhelming if you aren't used to it. My family is loud, competitive and dramatic-- And I love ever second of it. I had a blast catching up with my cousins, opening presents, seeing my grandma and grandpa and seeing our newest members of the family, a baby and a newly engaged. We had such a fun time eating good food and laughing long into the night. It makes me so proud to have such a supportive and loving family. We are truly blessed. We have everything that we could ever need. Thank you Santa. Thank you for everything.

Wedding Idea Pinks.

I got super inspired to do another wedding post--

This one is rustic, wood, shades of pink white and maybe some light yellows.

I think this is a perfect color scheme for a fall wedding.

I know you usually pair fall with browns and darker colors, but something about falling leaves and pink is magical.
