My Walk-about Begins.

Well, it's about time I let you in on a big secret I didn't mean to make a secret until I realized I hadn't written about it yet.

I am going to AUSTRALIA in the spring. 

I am renting my room out in Eugene and getting the heck out of this country! 

I know many of you may have already heard about my plans because, well most of you live with me... But, for you that haven't here's the low-down.
 ....

Each one of my family members has taken some time off college at some point and time and traveled to distant lands.

When I was younger I couldn't WAIT until it was my turn. 

Who knew that day would be here so soon?

Not me. 

For the past two years I have worked with my old teacher and team of "animators" during the summer at Nonviolent Communication summer camps. 

The camps themselves are part of a wonderful adventure called Play in the Wild!
Which creates a universal learning space for students from all over the world to come explore and grow together. 

When I was younger I went on the trips, now I have become the youngest member of their team. 

In April I will be flying to Australia to meet up with the other team members to begin another journey with students from all over the world. 

I will be flying into the Eastern side of Australia and we will be stationed is a small (town?) called Gympie

After the camp I am going to be celebrating the (union/wedding) of my old teacher/friend and her soon to be husband. 

Because of their enormous friends and family circle that they have accumulated around the globe, they will be having celebrations in Seattle, Costa Rica and Australia.
I am so excited to be part of their union!
I mean, you all know how much I LOVE weddings...

From there I will begin my "walkabout" traveling by myself to New Zealand for about a month exploring down under.
I have NO idea what to expect from this part of the trip.
It will be the first time I will be traveling alone, so that is something scary as well as wonderful.

And then I will be finding my way to Wales where I will join the Play in The Wild! camp for another week of learning and giggling.

I can not WAIT for my adventure to begin! 

I know it will be a lot of work and I also know that I will learn a lot by traveling by myself but I can't wait to experience it all. 

So there it is! My adventure story is just starting!
